NEW PAGE COACHING, LLC
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Effective Date: April 11, 2025
This Terms and Conditions Agreement ("Agreement") constitutes a legally binding contract between you ("Client") and New Page Coaching, LLC ("Company"), a limited liability company organized and operating under the laws of the State of Georgia. By purchasing coaching sessions or subscriptions, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the following terms:
1. Services Offered: New Page Coaching, LLC provides life coaching services intended to support personal development, goal achievement, and overall well-being. Services may include individual coaching sessions, group coaching, workshops, and access to digital resources. Coaching services do not include psychotherapy, counseling, or medical advice.
2. Payment Terms: All coaching sessions, packages, and subscription services must be paid in full prior to the commencement of services.
The accepted payment methods are listed on the Company’s official website. All purchases are final. No refunds will be provided once payment has been received.
3. No Refund Policy: Payments made to New Page Coaching, LLC are strictly non-refundable. Clients are strongly encouraged to review service offerings carefully before making a purchase.
If a Client cancels a scheduled session without providing at least 24 hours' notice, the session fee will be forfeited. Sessions cancelled with appropriate notice may be rescheduled based on availability.
4. Service Agreements:
Coaching services are provided on a per-purchase basis; no ongoing contract obligations are imposed. Clients may discontinue services at any time. However, fees paid for any services rendered or reserved are non-refundable.
5. Limitations of Life Coaching:
Clients understand and acknowledge that life coaching is not a substitute for licensed mental health services, psychotherapy, medical treatment, or legal advice.
Life coaches associated with New Page Coaching, LLC are not licensed therapists or medical professionals and will not diagnose or treat mental health disorders or medical conditions.
Clients requiring mental health support are encouraged to seek care from qualified licensed professionals.
6. Client Responsibilities:
Clients agree to participate fully and actively in the coaching process and to communicate openly regarding goals, challenges, and scheduling.
Client outcomes are dependent on the Client’s personal commitment, and the Company makes no guarantees regarding specific results or achievements.
7. Confidentiality:
New Page Coaching, LLC is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all information shared during coaching sessions, except as required by law.
Client information will not be disclosed to third parties without written consent unless disclosure is mandated by legal obligations, including but not limited to mandated reporting requirements.
8. Mandated Reporting Obligations
Mandated Reporter Status:
Under Georgia law (O.C.G.A. § 19-7-5), certain professionals, including individuals engaged in coaching activities involving minors, elders, or vulnerable adults, may be designated as mandated reporters.
Reporting Responsibilities:
Child Abuse or Neglect: Any reasonable suspicion of physical, emotional, sexual abuse, or neglect involving a minor (under age 18) must be reported immediately to the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) or law enforcement authorities.
Elder Abuse or Neglect: Any reasonable suspicion of abuse, exploitation, or neglect of an elderly person (65 years and older) must also be reported.
Threats of Harm: If a Client discloses intentions of self-harm, suicide, or harm to others, the coach is legally obligated to notify appropriate authorities or mental health professionals for immediate intervention.
Reporting Process:
Reports must be made promptly through the DFCS reporting hotline, local law enforcement, or other authorized reporting mechanisms. Mandated reporters must provide available identifying information and relevant facts pertaining to the suspected abuse or neglect.
Immunity from Liability:
Mandated reporters who report in good faith are protected from civil or criminal liability, even if the report is ultimately unsubstantiated, as long as it is made without malice.
Training Recommendation:
It is recommended that all New Page Coaching staff receive ongoing training on identifying abuse and proper reporting procedures under Georgia law.
9. Limitation of Liability:
To the fullest extent permitted by law, New Page Coaching, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the use or inability to use its services. The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless New Page Coaching, LLC from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising out of the Client’s participation in coaching services.
10. Governing Law:
This Agreement and any disputes arising under it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
11. Amendments:
New Page Coaching, LLC reserves the right to update, modify, or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be effective immediately upon posting to the Company’s official website. Continued use of services after such posting constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
